Coffee Master Update
Before we can brew a cup of coffee, it begins as a seed planted on a farm somewhere in the world. That farm is within a community, that community within a larger culture of growers and producers, and that culture within an industry that supplies coffee to the globe. We are the final step of a journey that started far away. Coffee Master Update connects you to the latest news and happenings from across coffee’s journey.
Virtual Origin Experience
We invite you to visit Hacienda Alsacia through a new, immersive virtual experience. One of our local tour guides will walk you through the entire coffee-growing process on the farm, from seeds growing in the nursery to enjoying a cup of coffee in the Visitor Center and share how we are working toward the aspiration of a more sustainable future of coffee for all.
Digital Coffee Traceability
Discover where your coffee comes from. Through this digital web app, Starbucks packaged coffee sold at U.S. and Canada stores can be scanned with the help of a smart phone, allowing anyone to digitally trace their coffee and learn more about the region where it is produced, coffee farmers who grow it, where it goes to be processed, roasted and packaged and how it ends up in their hands.
Starbucks Stories
Starbucks Stories brings together three previously separate Starbucks storytelling platforms: Starbucks Channel, Starbucks News and 1912 Pike. You’ll find all your favorite stories from past years and, going forward, new stories reported and created by our team of multiplatform storytellers. You’ll see films, photos, written stories, information graphics, illustrations and maybe even some graphic-novel style stories.
